As he continues to gain recognition in the sport of boxing, Jake Paul is being persistent in his pursuit of greatness.

While controversial, ‘The Problem Child’ keeps making headlines each time he steps into the ring. Despite delivering a performance that left much to be desired last time out, the 27-year-old played a huge role in the event’s record-breaking success.

Following the event, Jake Paul revealed that now was the perfect time to make the fight with Canelo Alvarez.

According to Paul, Alvarez is approaching the end of his career and will be looking for huge paydays going forward—something Paul believes he can provide.

With his newfound success in the ring, Jake Paul has labeled himself the ‘face of boxing’.

Though many do not like the YouTuber, it’s hard to deny just how great he is at creating a buzz around his fights—even if a large amount of viewers are only tuning in to see him lose.

Paul discussed the possibility of matching up with Canelo Alvarez next during a recent video online.

“Canelo doesn’t think about whether I can be a risk or not,” Paul said on his B/S w Jake Paul show. “He’s just thinking about pay, about money.”

“At the end of the day, that’s why I think the fight will happen. And that’s why I’ve been asking for the fight for three years.”

Jake Paul understands the dangers that Canelo Alvarez presents, but is willing to take the risk for a chance at greatness.

“I could end up with my ass lying on the canvas, but let’s find out.”

However, it isn’t just Paul that has signaled his interest in the fight.

Canelo Alvarez declared his possible interest in money fights once his career comes to an end. Check it out here!
