Oktagon 68 took place Saturday in Germany, with the promotion’s vacant heavyweight championship on the line.
The headliner for the rising European MMA promotion saw Lazar Todev take on PFL veteran Will Fleury with gold up for grabs; the belt had been vacated after the promotion axed Hatif Moeil. That came after the then-champ started a brawl a day prior to a fight with Todev back in December.
That fight was ultimately cancelled, and Fleury found himself stepping in to face Todev for the vacant title. A win would make Fleury a double champ in Oktagon MMA, as he recently picked up the promotion’s light heavyweight title with a win over Karlos Vemola.
