With an injury to Lucas Clay, Friday’s Cage Warriors 184 had lost its main event and star George Hardwick, with the fight pushed back a week. Still, the show must go on, and it would, with undefeated American welterweight Anthony Orozco facing off against Andrey Augusto to top the card in Manchester.
Brazil’s Augusto was 1-1 in two fights under the promotion’s banner, and was coming off a win outside the promotion.
It was the first of back-to-back nights of action for Cage Warriors, with an event set to unfold the following night as well.
