Last Friday, BJJ fans were shocked with the news that Fellipe Andrew and Leticia Cardozo have joined AOJ. The Mendes Bros broke the news with an Instagram post,which featured Fellipe and world champion Leticia Cardozo.
Huge Inclusion to AOJ
AOJ was already one of the most talent-rich Jiu Jitsu teams in the world. Now the inclusion of two world champions has bolstered their status as a top team.
Both Fellipe Andrew and Leticia Cardozo were two of Alliance’s top athletes. The two world champions kept quiet about the big move until the Mendes brothers’ posted the photo to make the move official.
Once the picture was posted, it blew up the internet. The post currently has over 16k likes and counting.
Andrew and Cardozo were already considered two of the best Jiu-Jitsu athletes on the planet. Now that they’re officially AOJ athletes, it’s scary to think how much they will evolve.Â
Especially Andrew, who had an incredible showing at CJI 1 earlier this month.

The 2025 IBJJF World Championship is over eight months away, but top BJJ teams are now on notice. AOJ will be bringing one hell of a crew with them to the next world championship event.
Both Fellipe Andrew and Leticia Cardozo just strengthened their chances of each winning a 2nd world title. Don’t be surprised to see these monsters evolve to another level over the next year.
