BRAVE Combat Federation is solidifying its position as a leader in sports media with the release of documentaries on Hamza Kooheji and Muhammad Mokaev. These productions follow the short film SMILE in 2017, which highlighted the journey of former BRAVE CF Featherweight World Champion Elias Boudegzdame. This move showcases BRAVE CF’s vision to celebrate its athletes while carving a niche in media and film production.

The latest documentaries, Hamza Kooheji: The Untold Story and Beyond the UFC: An Inside Look at BRAVE CF 91, provide an intimate look into the lives of two MMA icons. Directed by Ahmed Bucheery and legendary MMA filmmaker Will Harris respectively, these films highlight the personal and professional journeys of the fighters. They reveal the grit, sacrifice, and determination required to succeed in the world of mixed martial arts.

BRAVE Films, a subsidiary of BRAVE Combat Federation, is focused on producing movies, documentaries, and content that tells stories about the organization’s athletes. This innovative approach showcases the promotion’s vision to celebrate its fighters through media and film production.

BRAVE CF’s strategic shift toward media production is a natural extension of its global influence. By sharing compelling stories, the promotion connects with audiences on a deeper level, building emotional resonance with the sport. Mohammed Shahid, president of BRAVE CF, emphasizes this vision: “As we continue to grow, our focus remains on telling the authentic stories of our athletes. Each fighter has a unique journey, and through our documentaries, we aim to inspire not just fans of MMA, but anyone who dreams of overcoming obstacles in pursuit of their passion.”

BRAVE CF’s venture into film production marks a long-term strategy to expand its global footprint. With its events already broadcast to over 160 countries and reaching 1.7 Billion households, the organization is leveraging media to reinforce its brand identity. Documentaries serve as a bridge between fans and athletes, showcasing the human side of fighters and amplifying their appeal.

The release of SMILE in 2017 set the tone for BRAVE CF’s approach to storytelling. This short film highlighted Elias Boudegzdame’s unique journey, making him a relatable figure for fans worldwide. Building on this success, the organization has now delivered longer, more detailed narratives. The Kooheji and Mokaev documentaries showcase Bahrain’s rising sports culture and BRAVE CF’s commitment to elevating MMA through innovative platforms.

Future projects could include exploring the lives of other standout fighters, creating episodic series, or delving into the behind-the-scenes operations of BRAVE CF. By establishing a robust media production wing, the promotion can create a consistent pipeline of content that engages fans year-round.

BRAVE CF’s expansion into media and film production signals a new era for MMA. Shahid states, “By blending athletic excellence with powerful storytelling, we ensure our legacy extends far beyond the cage.” Fans can anticipate more groundbreaking content, further cementing BRAVE CF’s position as a leader in sports and entertainment.
