MIAMI – COMBATE GLOBAL today revealed plans for five new live television events in 2025, kicking off with an all-women’s fight card titled ‘COMBATE FEMALE’ on Thursday, June 19. The event will be broadcast live from Miami on YouTube and Samsung TV Plus.
The live stream for ‘Combate Female’ will start at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, available in both English and Spanish on June 19.
“As usual, we are going to deliver Much More Action, or Mucha Más Acción, with these next five events showcasing the best new professional MMA talent in the world, particularly from the Latino universe,” said COMBATE GLOBAL CEO Campbell McLaren.
This new series will air consistently on the third Thursday of each month, starting with the June 19 show, allowing fans to easily follow the schedule.
Following June 19, COMBATE GLOBAL will continue to present live television events on July 17, August 21, September 18, and October 18.
The full fight card for the June 19 ‘Combate Female’ event will be announced shortly.
COMBATE GLOBAL’s live action debuted with a ‘Combate Female’ card on YouTube on March 13, and on Samsung TV Plus on April 24. This featured the return of Mexican reality TV star and recording artist turned MMA fighter Jawy Mendez (1-1).
The March 13 YouTube event marked COMBATE GLOBAL’s first appearance on the world’s top digital streaming platform, following a successful six-year run on linear television with Univision. During that period, COMBATE GLOBAL was the number one late-night Spanish-language television series and the second most-watched MMA television series, according to Nielsen.
On several occasions, COMBATE GLOBAL’s live TV viewership surpassed that of MMA market leader, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), airing on the same weekend. It also outperformed major boxing broadcasts such as Top Rank Boxing on ESPN.
