Noche UFC at the Sphere is fast approaching, and Dana White has added to the hype in his latest statement about the event.
In what is being considered a once-in-a-lifetime showcase, UFC 306 will historically be the first combat sports event at the coveted Las Vegas Sphere. The venue will host two incredible title fights, but it’s the spectacle that is most intriguing fans.
Dana White made a promise to supporters that Noche UFC will be like no event in sports history. With the pay-per-view just around the corner, White has shared some exciting information about what viewers can expect on Saturday.
“We are going to put on this unbelievable entertainment event,” White said during an appearance on First Take. “There’s a movie that’s going to run in the Sphere.”
“There are chapters to this movie. So, before each fight is a movie, and you will be focused on the Sphere and the screen. Then, the fighters will walk out and hopefully, what we’re hoping, is then the fight is the star of the show.”
“When that’s over, there will be another movie. Then a fight.”
White continued, sharing some more details on what the ‘movies’ entail.
“Basically, this movie that I’m talking about and these chapters will tell the history of combat sports in Mexico. The history of the Mexican people, their traditions. It is what I call the ‘love letter to Mexico.'”
