Dillon Danis Returns To Competition – Against YouTube Star KSI
One of the most (in)famous BJJ practitioners in the world, Dillon Danis, is set to make his return to competition – facing YouTube star KSI at Misfits Boxing 21, on March 29, 2025.
The announcement comes as a surprise, as many assumed Danis had walked away from boxing following his disqualification loss to Logan Paul in his debut bout.
Danis largely remained out of the spotlight until recently, when he announced his return to MMA under the Global Fight League banner.Should that bout materialize in 2025, it will mark nearly six years since his last fight in the Bellator cage.
So, with a 2-0 professional MMA record, a return to mixed martial arts seemed like a natural step, given his credentials as a once-promising BJJ prospect.A return to high-level grappling competition was also a logical path.
Yet, few expected Danis to step back into the boxing ring.
Though, the matchup against KSI does have unfinished business behind it. As originally, Danis was set to make his boxing debut against KSI in early 2023.That fight never happened, as Danis withdrew just weeks before the event, leading to speculation that he was unprepared.
