MMA Fighting has DWCS results for all the action from season eight, week six of UFC’s Contender Series on Tuesday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nev.
In the main event, undefeated prospect Aaron Tau takes on the 6-1 Elijah Smith in a bantamweight contest. Smith is the son of former two-time The Ultimate Fighter contestant Gilbert Smith. Should Smith win and be awarded a contract, he and his father would become only the second father-son combination in UFC history, behind Randy Couture and his son Ryan Couture.
Thus far 20 contracts have been awarded this season, with only one week seeing all five winners earn a shot in the UFC.
