F2W CEO Seth Daniels has made his first public statement since threatening to kill Craig Jones in a DM. Daniels made an IG post regretting this decision and vowing to be better in the future.

The Backstory
A few months ago, when Craig Jones was promoting CJI, he got under the skin of some working with ADCC, most notably F2W CEO Seth Daniels, who sent Jones a DM threatening to kill him if he saw him.
Not being the type to back down, Jones put Rollins on blast and posted the DM on Instagram. Of course, this poor decision by Daniels had repercussions, and he’s been getting bad publicity since.
Daniels Breaks His Silence
This week, Seth Daniels finally broke his silence after the backlash. In an Instagram post, he claims to be “humbled” by the just criticisms he received for the death threat.
“For the first time in a long time I’m excited to get to work. I will be putting all of my energy into my mental and physical health, my family and rebuilding Fight To Win.
I have let life and f2w get away from me for the past 5 years focusing on drama, bulls*it and other people’s businesses.
For those of you that have talked s*it about me, called me on my bulls*it, and came after me and my business. I deserved every bit of it.
I hope you will give me a chance to earn your respect.If not that’s cool too, if it makes you feel good to make negative comments, send me messages about how much you hate me and f2w, go for it, whatever makes you happy.
Moving forward no more death threats, no choking out my friends, no more being a douchebag and embarrassing myself, my family and the community.
I’m choosing not to engage with any type of negativity or negative people.

Forgive & Forget
Threatening another person over a no-gi grappling event was incredibly dumb and low-class. However, we all make mistakes, and it’s good to see what Seth Daniels has learned from this experience.
The positive we can take from this embarrassment is maybe we’ll get more F2W events. Daniels puts on a good event, and the more super-fight events, the better for pro-Jiu-Jitsu athletes.
It would even be cool to see the F2W tournaments make a comeback, but that would be a decision for Seth.
