For example, he was asked what he would focus on if he started his BJJ journey from scratch.Moraes answered:
Most important is the primary positions, the simple game is going to be with you forever even when you’re a black belt.The simple game will be with you forever.
He also shared a part of what his recovery protocol looks like:
I focus on recovery, doing some massages, physiotheraphy, focus on rest, sauna, cold bath and good healthy food.
He also shared some additional pieces of advice that everyone should abide by:
Be on time and listen to your coaches.
I like to train as a lifestyle, part of my life like everybody should do.
(As an answer to a person asking if they can their on their own): You have to go to a class and be there in person.
(Answer to the question if someone should train BJJ or wrestling for MMA): Wrestling AND BJJ.
