After almost a year of abrupt silence, we are proud to announce that Jiu Jitsu Legacy is officially back!!! We were dealing with issues out of our control, but we’re on a comeback and ready to evolve.
To you, our loyal followers, we sincerely apologize for leaving you hanging without notice and are here to explain what’s happening. Check out why we went silent and what we are planning to do going forward.
What Happened?
We have received numerous messages asking us if the website had shut down and why the content abruptly stopped. The reason for our sudden disappearance was the last Google update, which affected all blogs and news sites.
If you don’t know, Google’s most recent update was basically an atomic bomb for most blog and article websites. The update instantly wiped away ad revenue for almost all news and blog sites.
Basically, thousands of jobs in the world of blogging and online news websites were wiped out. Many websites, including big names like Bloody Elbow, didn’t survive the update.
Unfortunately, JJL was also a victim of the update, and we lost almost all our revenue. However, after a long hiatus, we got together and decided to try to revive our beloved website.

Going forward, you can expect us to bring you all the latest news from the world of grappling. We’re going to pump out content like never before to keep you updated on everything going on.
JJL wants to be your go-to source for everything related to the Gi, No-Gi, and even wrestling. As soon as big news breaks, we’ll let you know about it and keep you informed.
Also, along with breaking news in grappling, we’ll also keep giving detailed breakdowns of techniques and the hottest grappling gear available.
