ONE 171: Kade Ruotolo Booked For Third MMA Fight Of His Career
Kade Ruotolo has officially booked his third professional MMA fight – set to take place at ONE 171 on February 20, 2025!
Initially, it seemed uncertain whether Ruotolo would ever make the switch to MMA.But after a flawless debut at ONE 167, Ruotolo has gone full steam ahead in his octagon career.
In his debut, Ruotolo submitted Blake Cooper – who had a 2-1 professional record at the time – in the very first round.He followed that up with an even quicker first-round submission victory over veteran fighter Ahmed Mujtaba at ONE 169, bringing his MMA record to 2-0.
His next opponent, Nicolas Vigna, has less experience than Mujtaba – but he holds an undefeated 7-0 professional record, with all of his fights ending in finishes. Only one of which made it to the second round.Vigna is a skilled grappler himself as well, with four of his wins coming by way of submission.
Ruotolo’s upcoming matchup against Vigna will be an important test in his MMA journey.If he continues his dominant streak, he could soon be in the conversation for a ONE Championship title shot.
