Luke Griffith Earns His BJJ Black Belt
On the heels of beating multi-time champion Victor Hugo at WNO last week, Luke Griffith was awarded his BJJ black belt. His coach John Danaher saw everything he needed and awarded Luke after his victory.
The South African grappler was happy to receive the rank from his highly-regarded coach.
“I had the honor of being promoted to black belt by my coach @danaherjohn. This means more to me than probably any other accomplishment that I have. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such a great group of people making me better everyday on and off the mat.”- Luke Griffith.
Griffith’s coach John Danaher also commented on his student’s promotion to black belt.
“Nobody deserves it more Luke. Congratulations on all your success. I’ve seen with my own eyes how hard you’ve worked for it and you’ve risen to an extremely impressive (level) both as an athlete and a coach. Keep doing what you’re doing – you are heading towards your dreams.”- Danaher.
Congrats to Luke
Huge congratulations to Luke, who more than deserved this promotion. We’re all anxious to see who you face next in your young grappling career.
