NS Brotherhood Responds to Leandro Lo’s Mother
Earlier this year, the late Leandro Lo’s Mother, Fatima Lo made a video claiming her son’s brand, Brotherhood was being exploited. Fatima claimed that the management in charge of the brand and academy were making money off her son’s name.
NS Brotherhood finally broke their silence and addressed the claims of Lo’s Mother and defended manager Augusto Ferrari.
Professor Augusto has been the academy’s head coach since 2018 and was personally chosen by Leandro.
“We clarify that Ferrari has never engaged in any illicit or illegal activities, nor has he personally or financially benefited from the project.”- NS Brotherhood
The Financial Controversy
The current group overseeing Leandro’s academy and trademark went on to address the financial controversy. They claim that a certain member of Leandro Lo’s family was originally chosen to oversee the management of the brand and the academy.
However, they claim that this person neglected to fulfill their duties, which led them to place another person in charge.
“This management included collecting fees, controlling memberships, and registering branches. However, it is important to emphasize that this function was never effectively carried out by the appointed person, which compromised the fulfillment of responsibilities.”
“We remain committed to strengthening Jiu-Jitsu as a tool for social transformation and personal development, always honoring the memory of the Great Master ‘in memoriam’ and the values he left as his legacy.”- NS Brotherhood.

Who is Telling the Truth?
There’s still a lot of missing pieces to the story, and one or both of the sides isn’t telling the whole truth. Fatima stands firm in her claim that the family never consented to the business takeover.
However, NS Brotherhood’s claim that the appointed family member neglected their duties raises more questions.
This story is an unfortunate one, and we hope both sides find an agreement and preserve Leandro Lo’s legacy.
