All 22 athletes competing at OKTAGON 67 in Třinec, Czech Republic, weighed in earlier today ahead of a brilliant event tomorrow night (Saturday, February 22). The king of the flyweight division will be decided in the headliner and two more €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger middleweight tournament opening round bouts go down.
European standout, Sam Creasey (19-5), aims to defend his title for the first time in the main event against Georgian talent, Beno Adamia (11-8-2). The man known as ‘Pink Panther’, David Kozma (32-14), looks to begin his path back to the welterweight belt he used to own in the co-headliner opposite Slovak favourite, Robert Pukač (18-13-1).
As a part of the €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger opening round, Miloš Petrášek (13-7) wants to send the Czech crowd wild when he meets former Liverpudlian Cage Warriors champion, Mick Stanton (13-8). Also in the European MMA Champions League bracket, Andreas Michailidis (16-8) represents Greece and hopes to advance over Dricus Du Plessis’ training partner, Mark Hulme (12-3).
Elsewhere on the loaded lineup, rising German star, Niko Samsonidse (11-3), faces promotional newcomer, Edgar Delgado Jimenez (15-6), in a featherweight contest. Lucia Szabová (8-0) intends to remain undefeated and move towards the bantamweight belt when she meets UFC veteran, Kalindra Faria (19-10-1).
