“It’s been another banner year for our organizations in 2024, with the continued success of our flagship MMA brand, the incredible growth of CFFC Match Day’s elite NCAA Division I Wrestling events, and now another spectacular close to the schedule with our annual year-end spectacular with FURY Professional Grappling,” Cage Fury Fighting Championships CEO Rob Haydak said. “There’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of these cards, where we get to see elite UFC fighters competing alongside some of the most skilled pure grapplers in the world in a night of fast-paced, high-energy entertainment that has become a hallmark of our organization.
“The atmosphere in the building for these FURY Professional Grappling events is always something special, so get your tickets immediately and join us for another memorable night in Philadelphia.”
Philadelphia’s own Brady is a CFFC legend who posted a perfect 8-0 mark in the organization before making his way to the UFC. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt has since gone 7-1 in the UFC’s famed octagon, including submission victories over Kelvin Gastelum, Jake Matthews and Christian Aguilera, with his lone career MMA loss coming to current UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.
Since making his octagon debut, Brady has also competed twice for FURY Professional Grappling, scoring a submission win over 19-time UFC veteran Ben Saunders, as well as a decision nod over grappling legend Craig Jones.
Meanwhile, Martinez is quite simply one of the most beloved and respected competitive grapplers in the world, competing for the UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational, Polaris, QUINTET, and Submission Underground, among others, as well as being a two-time Eddie Bravo Invitational Combat Jiu-Jitsu welterweight champion. “Boogeyman” now makes his FURY Professional Grappling debut and will look to add Brady’s name to a list of wins over UFC veterans that also includes Kevin Casey, C.B. Dollaway, Marcin Held, Kazushi Sakuraba, Jake Shields and Gleison Tibau.
The full schedule for FURY Professional Grappling 12, featuring additional MMA stars and top submission grappling talent, will be confirmed shortly.
Longtime MMA journalist and broadcaster John Morgan calls the action alongside Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and Illuminati Grappling Club instructor Jay Regalbuto for UFC FIGHT PASS.
