USA Boxing Announces 2025 Women’s Elite Team Roster

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –Team USA’s Women’s Elite roster has officially been announced for 2025 following the conclusion of the Elite Selection Camp, which was hosted at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from January 20 to February 19. The women noted below were chosen through a detailed set of selection camp procedures by the USA Boxing High Performance department. In total, six boxers were selected to the USA Boxing Women’s Elite High Performance team across as many weight classes.

The six boxers selected will represent Team USA in the various World Boxing Cup events throughout the 2025 schedule, beginning in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil, March 31 to April 5. The 2025 World Boxing Elite World Championships, the inaugural event, will be hosted in Liverpool, England, September 4-14.

Among the athletes representing Team USA on the Women’s Elite Team are Jennifer Lozano (Laredo, Texas), Yoseline Perez (Houston, Texas), Alyssa Mendoza (Caldwell, Idaho), Jajaira Gonzalez (Glendora, Calif.), Morelle McCane (Cleveland, Ohio), and Isabella Winkler (Seattle, Wash.).

Lozano, Mendoza, Gonzalez and McCane return to the team after representing the Stars and Stripes during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Each of the six individuals on the Elite Women’s Team also captured the national title in their respective weight classes at the 2024 USA Boxing National Championships in Richmond, Virginia.

USA Boxing is led by Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and National Resident Coach Timothy Nolan (Rochester, N.Y.).

51 kg: Jennifer Lozano | Laredo, Texas 54 kg: Yoseline Perez | Houston, Texas 57 kg: Alyssa Mendoza | Caldwell, Idaho 60 kg: Jajaira Gonzalez | Glendora, Calif. 65 kg: Morelle McCane | Cleveland, Ohio.
