Turner had no choice but to tap, with the fight ending in just 2 minutes and 29 seconds of the first round.After the win, Bahamondes couldn’t help but joke about his unexpected submission finish:
I’m a grappler now.
He revealed that he had a strong premonition about how the fight would play out:
I knew I was going to submit him. I told in the interviews, I was going to submit him in the first round.I just felt it.
I had a dream one day again and I dreamed I submitted him.Whenever I saw his face, he was off.
